Baby Sasya has been coughing for the past two week and Daddy was worried too much about her well being. So we went twice to Dr Shiva in Singapore and during the last trip, I was so shocked to see Dr Shiva lifted Sasya up with one hand !
Even I still do not dare to do that.
*Why most Indonesians trust doctor in Singapore more than doctor in Indonesia? I realise that in general, most doctor in Jakarta just give medicine and antibiotics without thinking about our babies's long term health. I am glad that this is not the case in Singapore. Dr Shiva DID NOT give any medicine. He assured me that antibiotics and other type of medicine, not only will kill bad bacterias, but also will kill good ones.*

ReplyDeleteIn jakarta sometimes we dont have any choice, either the doctors are not up to date in their field, or pressure from patients to make their child recover FAST. That is why came the antibiotics for babies. Even in US it is very hard to get medicine for kids under 2 and it has to be administered carefully. But we need to be patient when our kids are recovering without medicine because sometime it is the parents' impatience that cause their babies undergo series of antibiotics and medicine.
